Step 1: Ready...Enjoy a free discovery session! The first step is for you to explore coaching through a free initial discovery session. That session will allow you to have an even better understanding of what you can expect from coaching and how you could specifically benefit from it. At the end of the session, you will be able to see for yourself if coaching is an avenue you would like to further explore. Step 2: Set...If you decide to go ahead, the second step will be to determine the logistics of when, where and how often to schedule sessions. This schedule is meant to both support you in the best way so you can produce the greatest possible results and be flexible enough to meet your personal interests and circumstances. How Often? It has been shown that most clients benefit from 2 to 3 sessions per month. This provides them with meaningful space between sessions for thought and reflection while ensuring enough continuity to create momentum. Although most clients start noticing positive results from the very first session, it is generally agreed that the longer the work, the more significant and lasting the benefits are. For this reason, an initial 3 month coaching contract is generally recommended to keep on building on the ongoing results you are creating. How Long and Where? Sessions generally last 30-45 minutes. They take place in one of two ways: on the phone or on–site at the Edgemont Village Medical Clinic (Highland Professional Center). Phone sessions have a number of benefits, including greater flexibility and easy integration of the work, since they allow you to anchor new insights from within your usual environment.
